Stepping outside, the tiered garden catches the evening sun, a perfect spot to unwind after exploring the picturesque countryside surrounding Tideswell, a village that, while having some weekday closures, still offers inviting pubs like The Star to settle into. I found it to be a truly solid base for venturing out, with surprisingly responsive local support for any minor domestic puzzles.”
